Many of us carry a quiet sense of exile, shaped by early wounds and the ancestral stories we inherit. We become estranged from core aspects of ourselves.
Rooted in Irish myth, folklore, and Jungian depth psychology, this work offers a way of returning.
As we deepen our relationship with our inner world, we open to new possibilities and creativity. This exploration of our inner landscape expands our psychological depth, strengthens our courage to engage with life, and nurtures compassion for ourselves, others, our ancestral story, and our place in the world—leading us toward a more authentic life.
What is Deepening the Senses?
Deepening the Senses is a way of supporting the journey of becoming more whole, what Jungian Depth Psychology calls Individuation.
It is a grounded and embodied path, rooted in sensory experience, shaped by the mythopoetic imagination, and informed by the ancestral wisdom of Ireland. Through this work, we begin to listen differently, to symbol, to story, and to the deeper movements of the psyche. It is expressed through one-to-one depth work, as well as courses, programs, and retreats, offering a unique way to enter and deepening into your inner world and soul self.

Mythopoetic Pathways into the Inner Life
Through live online gatherings and self-paced courses, this work offers ways of entering into relationship with psyche, symbol, and the inner life.
When we attune to myth and story, we step beyond the purely rational and enter a timeless, symbolic ‘deep time’ realm. Here, imagination and metaphor speak in the symbolic language of the unconscious, inviting a more receptive relationship with our inner world and the archetypal patterns that move through us. In this space, the work unfolds through symbol and image, through story, poetry, music, and embodied practices, deepening our awareness of the personal and ancestral patterns that shape our lives.

“As we look, we feel the presence of a lost world.
We are out of touch. We have no bridge on which to step across so many centuries.”
